SPRINGS
STATIONARY
Tempered, high-carbon double cone coil springs are matched to each style to provide the best seating. These coil springs are 8-way hand-tied and secured to polypropylene sheeting, which is reinforced with steel bands.
SWIVELS
The swivels consist of five steel springs. We use 8-gauge springs as they are heavier and more robust, preventing sagging. This provides longer lifespans, where you will get the maximum firmness. There are two to three 12-gauge steel wires connecting each spring, holding them together for better support.
RECLINER MECHANISMS
Our mechanisms are USA-made and assembled in Denton, NC by Ultra-Mek.
PADDING
All platforms are padded with a layer of insulated deck cover. Back and arms are covered with urethane foam and cotton felt for extra softness if needed, depending on the application.
FINISH
Our finishes are hand-rubbed and waxed. Requires a 9-step process, unless it is a distressed finish, which requires a 12-step finish on our maple wood. Depth and clarity are an indication of quality, with three coats of lacquer applied.
